Llewelyn Jones

Jones is a Welsh Artist and Maker living in London UK. He has a long history of leading workshops big and small as well as being an committed rapper and producer. Brought through the ranks of community youth theatre, gripped by Hip Hop and Dance Music culture, nurtured by Theatr Fforwm Cymru - Mr Jones was inspired by working with the likes of Anna Gifford, Gill Dowsett, Karen Chandler, Deri Steel Morgan, Iwan Brioc and so many other creative visionaries from Wales (UK). Originally trained as a youth and community worker, Llewelyn uses theatre, rap, beatbox and more recently environmental playspace design/construction to affect positive change in people and places.

About the workshop(s):

"My workshops are about seeking the power and personality of the people in the group. They are about people discovering some fire and using that fire to ignite some good energy for performances, but more importantly in their own lives.

Music: Human Beat Boxing, Freestyle rap, Lyric and Poetry writing and/or computer music production.

Theatre: Forum Theatre, Improvisation theatre and sketch building.

Environment: designing (scale model making & 3D design) building (temporary or permanent) play and performance spaces.

Depending on the workshop type I can work with up to a maximum of 20 participants."
